Responsibilities of a Sales & Operations Assistant:
- Provide basic customer service and respond to sales inquiries via phone, email, and in-person.
- Support the sales team by entering orders, updating customer records, and assisting with sign product sales.
- Manage shipping and receiving, including tracking, logging, and verifying deliveries.
- Reconcile daily transactions and assist with payment posting and accounts receivable follow-up.
- Monitor and restock office, shipping, and janitorial supplies.
- Organize the shared email inbox and route messages appropriately.
- Maintain a clean and organized front office and work area.
- Communicate effectively between store locations and departments regarding deliveries and updates.
- Participate in daily WIP meetings and follow up on assigned tasks.
Ideal Qualifications:
- 1+ year of experience in customer service, sales support, or administrative roles (retail or signage industry experience a plus)
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency with Google Suite and basic computer applications; experience with Corebridge or similar CRM/order systems a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable working independently and collaboratively
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn new systems and processes
- High school diploma or equivalent
