Job summary

Kelly Services in Boise, ID seeks a Sales Operations Analyst II in a temporary capacity. You will act as the primary liaison for product ordering between the client in Japan and our organization, coordinating delivery schedules and optimizing manufacturing timelines.

The role requires strong Excel, data analytics, and customer-facing skills, with bonus for English/Japanese bilingual proficiency. This position is on-site in Boise, ID, and offers a range of benefits typical of Kelly assignments.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Associate’s Degree with 6+ years relevant experience, OR 10+ years of experience in lieu of degree.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ industry experience in a related field.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience with CRM systems, SAP, Power BI, Monday.com, and Snowflake preferred.
  • Customer-facing experience required.
  • Bilingual English/Japanese language skills strongly preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Manage delivery schedules in alignment with customer needs and factory capacity.
  • Lead communications with external customers to optimize manufacturing schedules and enforce contractual agreements and fees.
  • Influence customer scorecards and manage internal/external forecast changes to achieve revenue objectives.
  • Communicate global delivery timing for both new and reused equipment.
  • Collaborate directly with customers and sales teams to strategically negotiate and adjust delivery schedules.
  • Provide delivery performance metrics for customer scorecards.
  • Reconcile fees and remedies associated with on-time delivery (including credit memos for transit reimbursements).
  • Implement and monitor expedite/cancellation fees to mitigate manufacturing impacts in line with department strategy.
  • Resolve customs and logistics-related issues in collaboration with customer logistics teams or carriers.
  • Maintain confidentiality and security of customer and company information.
  • Schedule and contribute to customer meetings focused on forecasts, orders, and delivery.
  • Optimize manufacturing schedules and ensure quality in collaboration with factory stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement strategies to maximize revenue.
  • Lead customer meetings, resolving escalations or issues as needed.
  • Address quality excursions and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure KPIs are accurately tracked and regularly reported.
  • Utilize data analytics tools to generate actionable insights.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Sales Operations Analyst II to join our team in a temporary capacity. In this pivotal role, you will act as the primary point of contact (POC) for product ordering, serving as a liaison between the client in Japan and our organization. This position requires a proactive and detail-oriented professional with strong communication skills and a customer-focused mindset.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage delivery schedules in alignment with customer needs and factory capacity.

  • Awareness of market trends in the semiconductor industry.

  • Flexibility to adapt to changing market or customer needs.

  • Project management experience supporting sales operations is a plus.
