Job summary

Tax Titans, a Sherman Oaks tax-resolution firm, is hiring a full-time, in-office sales opener to work leads by phone, qualify prospects, and hand them off to closers—by booking qualified appointments or live-transferring on the spot. This is a high-volume, entry path role with paid training.

You’ll start in the opening seat and can move into closing as you learn the process, with immediate-start availability and a base pay of $20/hour plus commission.

Qualifications

• Phone experience, sales or otherwise (B2C preferred).
• Hands-on experience with a CRM, a dialer, and a business phone system.
• Tech savvy and quick to learn new software.
• Based in the Los Angeles area and able to commute to Sherman Oaks daily.
• Available to start immediately.

Responsibilities

• Make a high volume of outbound calls to assigned leads every day.
• Qualify prospects on the phone — confirm they owe the IRS, the rough amount, and that they want help.
• Live-transfer qualified prospects to a closer when one is available.
• Book qualified appointments for the closing team when a live transfer isn't possible.
• Follow up consistently on leads that don't convert the first time.
• Keep notes and activity current in the CRM.
• Learn our offer, objections, and process — with the goal of closing yourself.

Tax Titans is a tax resolution firm in Sherman Oaks helping people who owe the IRS get their situation handled. We're hiring a full-time, in-office sales opener to work our leads by phone, qualify prospects, and get them in front of our closers — either by booking a qualified appointment or by live-transferring the call on the spot.

This role is in our Sherman Oaks office. It is not remote or hybrid.

What the job actually is

This is an outreach role. Some leads come in warm and need follow-up, most are cold and you're making the first call. Either way, you're dialing. When you reach someone who qualifies, you hand them off: if a closer is available, you live-transfer the call; if not, you book a firm appointment. If you're comfortable on the phone and you'd rather work a list than wait for it to ring, you'll do well here.

This is also a starting point, not a ceiling. Openers who perform get trained on the full sale and moved into a closing seat. If you want to learn how to sell and you're willing to put in the dials to earn it, that path is open.

What we're looking for

• Phone experience, sales or otherwise (B2C preferred)
• Hands-on experience with a CRM, a dialer, and a business phone system — or the drive to learn them fast
• Generally tech savvy — you can pick up new software quickly and troubleshoot your own issues
• Comfortable with high call volume and rejection
• Clear communicator who can build trust quickly and keep a prospect on the line through a transfer
• Coachable and genuinely wants to grow into a closing role
• Based in the Los Angeles area and able to commute to Sherman Oaks daily
• Available to start immediately
• Tax or financial services experience is a plus but not required — we'll train that side.

Compensation

$20.00/hour guaranteed base plus commission on qualified appointments, live transfers, and deals. Estimated total compensation is $3,500–$5,500/month depending on performance. Pay grows as you move into closing. Full structure is covered in the interview.
