We are seeking a motivated & energetic Roofing Estimator to join our team.
The ideal candidate will obtain leads & convert them to clients through our four-step proven process. Perform roof inspections, provide estimates, and offer several options to customers using our Better, Best, Basic pricing strategy. Build strong relationships with customers through excellent communication, follow-up, and follow-through.

Responsibilities:
- Perform estimates for roof replacement with the goal of closing sales
- Build rapport & trust with clients
- Maintain relationships with professional partners for networking
- Ensure all missed calls/messages are returned the same day
- Convert leads to prospects via estimates
- Receive company-provided leads based on performance and availability
- No door knocking required
- Enter lead information into CRM, including notes and tagging
- Research specialty items & source prior to estimates
- Provide roofing, color, style, & payment options to prospects
- Ensure an exceptional customer experience
- Notify management of customer issues or concerns
- Prepare postcards & letters for mailing campaigns
- Execute marketing strategies and develop your own with approval
- Understand jurisdiction permit requirements
- Prepare & execute daily sales plans
- Grow market share and maximize territory performance
- Stay updated on roofing systems, trends, and product availability
- Stay current on material pricing & availability
- Accurately complete contract details and legal documents
- Develop a personal process that meets SOPs and works for you
- Attend weekly and scheduled meetings
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of sales experience; construction or industrial sales is a plus
- Professional, able to network, and loves conversation
- Excellent customer service skills and a desire for customer satisfaction
- Strong grammar, math skills, and communication skills
- Strong negotiation skills and a drive to sell
- Proven accuracy and safety focus
- Experience with sales tracking and analysis
- Competitive and committed to continual improvement
- Ability to climb ladders and walk roofs daily; work in confined spaces as needed
- Ability to learn and use a CRM; manage jobs
- Intermediate computer skills
- Team-oriented and able to work with others
- Dependable, organized, detail-oriented, and positive
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and email communication
- Self-managed and able to work independently

- Must be able to lift 75 lbs, stand, sit, bend, twist, and move efficiently
