We are seeking a motivated & energetic Roofing Estimator to join our team.

The ideal candidate will obtain leads & convert them to clients through our four-step proven process. Perform roof inspections, provide estimates, and offer several options to customers using our Better, Best, Basic pricing strategy. Build strong relationships with customers through excellent communication, follow-up, and follow-through.

Responsibilities:
  1. Perform estimates for roof replacement with the goal of closing sales
  2. Build rapport & trust with clients
  3. Maintain relationships with professional partners for networking
  4. Ensure all missed calls/messages are returned the same day
  5. Convert leads to prospects via estimates
  6. Receive company-provided leads based on performance and availability
  7. No door knocking required
  8. Enter lead information into CRM, including notes and tagging
  9. Research specialty items & source prior to estimates
  10. Provide roofing, color, style, & payment options to prospects
  11. Ensure an exceptional customer experience
  12. Notify management of customer issues or concerns
  13. Prepare postcards & letters for mailing campaigns
  14. Execute marketing strategies and develop your own with approval
  15. Understand jurisdiction permit requirements
  16. Prepare & execute daily sales plans
  17. Grow market share and maximize territory performance
  18. Stay updated on roofing systems, trends, and product availability
  19. Stay current on material pricing & availability
  20. Accurately complete contract details and legal documents
  21. Develop a personal process that meets SOPs and works for you
  22. Attend weekly and scheduled meetings
Requirements:
  1. At least 2 years of sales experience; construction or industrial sales is a plus
  2. Professional, able to network, and loves conversation
  3. Excellent customer service skills and a desire for customer satisfaction
  4. Strong grammar, math skills, and communication skills
  5. Strong negotiation skills and a drive to sell
  6. Proven accuracy and safety focus
  7. Experience with sales tracking and analysis
  8. Competitive and committed to continual improvement
  9. Ability to climb ladders and walk roofs daily; work in confined spaces as needed
  10. Ability to learn and use a CRM; manage jobs
  11. Intermediate computer skills
  12. Team-oriented and able to work with others
  13. Dependable, organized, detail-oriented, and positive
  14. Proficient in Microsoft Office and email communication
  15. Self-managed and able to work independently
  16. Aligned with our R.O.O.F.S Values and Mission
  17. Must be able to lift 75 lbs, stand, sit, bend, twist, and move efficiently
