We are a leader in the Health, Wellness and Beauty industry providing sales expertise and capabilities to our clients in Retail and Digital Commerce, Logistics/Supply Chain, Insights/Data Analytics and Marketing Services.

SUMMARY:

The Sales Manager will play a critical role in developing and strengthening relationships between assigned brands and the Value Channel Team. The Sales Manager will be responsible for maintaining and growing distribution, developing/executing promotional plans, and overseeing brand investment funds:

  • This role is designed for a proactive leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to achieving excellence in sales management and customer satisfaction.

The Sales Manager is responsible for account management functions including but not limited to:

1.Relationship Management:

·Serve as the primary point of contact between the brands represented and the retailer

·Build and maintain strong relationships with brand partners and retail stakeholders

·Identify opportunities, resolve issues, and negotiate win/win outcomes

2.Strategic Planning:

  • Create joint business plans with brand partners (strategy, funding, forecasting).
  • Collaborate on brand strategy (profitability, channel priority, pricing, portfolio optimization).
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and use this knowledge to help drive business results.

3.Data Analysis and Reporting:

  • Communicate and interpret business results (sales, inventory, promotional plans, etc.).
  • Synthesize insights from data to shape distribution recommendations and outcomes.
  • Create and lead business reviews with retail stakeholders and brand partners.

4.Promotional Planning:

  • Develop and execute promotional plans to drive sales and brand visibility.
  • Oversee brand investment funds to ensure effective allocation and ROI.

Customer Focus : Is dedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers; gets first-hand customer information and uses it for improvements in products and services; acts with customers in mind; establishes and maintains effective relationships with customers and gains their trust and respect.

Learning on the Fly : Learns quickly when facing new problems; a relentless and versatile learner; open to change; analyzes both successes and failures for clues to improvement; experiments and will try anything to find solutions; enjoys the challenge of unfamiliar tasks; quickly grasps the essence and the underlying structure of anything.

Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with [X+] years relevant experience

Work Environment: Availability to work full-time, remotely, 5 days, ideally in the Nashville Tennessee area. In addition, you will need to be flexible to travel to company, brand partner, customer and/or vendor locations, which can be up to 50% of the time in any given month.
