Job description

Location: Remote. The team runs across global time zones, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Imperium is a fast-growing education and coaching company, and we are hiring a Sales Manager to take full ownership of our outbound sales division. This is a live, revenue-generating team that sells around the clock, every day of the week, across every time zone we operate in. To be clear, this is an outbound sales team, not a setting team. The reps on this team sell.

The division is already built. We have a proven process, a clear playbook, and a team in place. The one problem this person solves is ownership. We need a leader who will run this division end to end, protect the standards that make it work, and keep lifting performance as we grow and scale.

If you want a seat where the system is already producing and your job is to lead it, defend it, and push it further, this is that role. You will own a division, lead a global team of sellers, and carry a direct line to the number.

This is a team we will keep scaling, and we promote from within. The person who owns this division and drives it forward puts themselves first in line for bigger roles as the company grows.

Role Overview

Title: Sales Manager, Outbound Division

Department: Sales

OTE: $10k/Month

Reports to: Chief Revenue Officer

Location: Remote. The team runs across global time zones, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Responsibilities

You own the outbound division. The headline below sits under four areas you will run every day.

Team and coverage
  • Keep the team fully staffed across every time zone we sell in, so the 24/7 schedule always has live coverage.
  • Forecast and manage rep headcount so the division has enough sellers to handle lead volume as it grows.
  • Hold speed to lead to a high standard. Every opt-in should reach a rep fast, with a target of roughly two minutes.
Performance management
  • Own the team's KPIs. Track dials, activity, and output, and hold every rep accountable to the standard.
  • Coach reps one on one and as a group, call out what needs to change, and manage underperformance directly.
Daily rhythm
  • Host daily office hours and daily training calls with the team.
  • Post leaderboards and keep targets, standings, and results visible to everyone.
Culture and motivation
  • Drive the energy, motivation, and culture across a fully remote team.
  • Protect the process and the standards that make this division produce.
Results

You will know this role is working by the numbers the division puts up. We run this team on a clear set of KPIs, and your job is to move them in the right direction and keep them there as the team scales.

The metrics we track most closely are:

  • Speed to lead. Every opt-in should reach a rep fast, with a target of roughly two minutes.
  • Total units sold. The output of the division as a whole.
  • Rep KPI attainment. The share of reps consistently hitting their individual targets.
  • Dial and activity volume. Reps putting in enough dials and activity to produce.

Great performance looks like these numbers staying healthy and trending up while we grow. You will own them, report on them, and be measured against them.

Requirements

We are hiring for the person, not the resume. A few things are non-negotiable on day one. A few things you can pick up once you are here. We will also happily consider candidates who have run smaller sales teams, or proven sellers who are ready to step into their first leadership role.

Must have on day one
  • A strong track record in sales, whether you have led a team before or performed at the top as a rep. Experience on an outbound or closing team is a plus.
  • Real leadership. People follow you, and the reps around you get better because you are there.
  • Strong, clear communication. You can lead a team call, run a live training, and have a sharp one-on-one with the same ease.
  • You give feedback well. Direct, specific, and delivered in a way that actually changes behavior.
  • An ownership mentality. You take full responsibility for outcomes and move without being told.
  • Comfort managing by the numbers. KPIs, activity, and accountability are second nature to you.
Can be learned on the job
  • Our specific process, playbook, scripts, and offers.
  • Our tools and reporting stack.
  • The detail of our market and where this division sits in the wider business.
Compensation

On-target earnings of $10,000 per month. This is made up of a base salary plus a monthly performance bonus tied to the results of the division. The stronger the division performs, the more you earn.
