Lexus Of Montgomery seeks an experienced Pre-Owned Sales Manager to oversee the used-vehicle sales operation, maximizing volume and gross profit while ensuring high customer satisfaction and adherence to compliance. You will lead the pre-owned team, manage sourcing, pricing, and aging inventory, and coordinate with Service, F&I, New Car Sales, and Marketing to drive overall dealership performance.

Formación

• 3–5+ years of automotive sales experience.

Responsabilidades

• Lead, train, and motivate the pre-owned sales team to achieve sales, gross, and volume objectives.
• Evaluate traded assets, desk and structure deals, assist with closing customers, and ensure profitability.
• Manage used vehicle inventory including acquisition, pricing, merchandising, and aging.
• Maintain the Preowned Sales Cork Board and Inventory Sheets accuracy.
• Analyze market trends, auction data, and competitive pricing to optimize inventory strategy.
• Collaborate with Service and Reconditioning to control costs and improve time-to-frontline.
• Monitor and improve sales processes, Drive-Centric usage, and follow-up standards.
• Ensure customer satisfaction and maintain strong CSI and online reputation.
• Handle customer concerns and escalations professionally and timely.

As the Lexus Pre-Owned Sales Manager, you are responsible for overseeing all aspects of the used vehicle sales operation. This role focuses on maximizing sales volume, gross profit, and inventory turn while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction and compliance. The manager leads the pre-owned sales team, manages inventory acquisition and pricing, and ensures efficient daily sales operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, train, and motivate the pre-owned sales team to achieve sales, gross, and volume objectives
• Evaluation of Traded Assets, desk and structure deals, assist with closing customers, and ensure profitability
• Manage used vehicle inventory including acquisition, pricing, merchandising, and aging
• Maintain the accuracy of the Preowned Sales Cork Board and Inventory Sheets.
• Analyze market trends, auction data, and competitive pricing to optimize inventory strategy
• Work closely with Service and Reconditioning to control costs and improve time-to-frontline
• Monitor and improve sales processes, Drive-Centric usage, and follow-up standards
• Ensure customer satisfaction and maintain strong CSI and online reputation
• Handle customer concerns and escalations in a professional and timely manner
• Collaborate with F&I, New Car Sales, and Marketing to maximize overall dealership performance
• Ensure compliance with dealership policies, manufacturer guidelines, and state and federal regulations

Qualifications & Skills

• 3–5+ years of automotive sales experience, including used car or management experience
• Strong understanding of pre-owned vehicle sourcing, auctions, and appraisals
• Proven ability to lead and hold a team accountable for performance
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and closing skills
• Data-driven mindset with experience analyzing inventory and sales reports
• Proficiency with Drive-Centric, Reynolds and Reynolds, V-Auto, and Autotrader.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends

Education & Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• College degree preferred but not required
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
