SALES MANAGER - JOB #1152

Enstrom Helicopter Corporation

Location: Menominee, Michigan
Position Type: Full-Time, Salaried, Exempt
Work Arrangement: Initial on-site work required; hybrid may be considered based on assigned responsibilities and business needs.

Build relationships. Advance aircraft sales. Help grow Enstrom.

Enstrom Helicopter Corporation is seeking a Sales Manager to develop new aircraft sales opportunities, achieve assigned sales objectives, and build lasting customer relationships across domestic and international markets.

This is a hands-on sales opportunity for someone who combines proactive business development with disciplined follow-through. You will manage customer opportunities throughout the sales lifecycle—from identifying prospects and understanding their missions to developing proposals, supporting negotiations, coordinating aircraft delivery, and transitioning customers to post-sale support.

What You’ll Do
  • Develop new business and achieve sales objectives. Build and execute sales plans for assigned markets and territories. Identify opportunities across commercial, flight-training, private, fleet, government, public-service, and other applicable customer segments.
  • Own the customer opportunity. Develop a qualified sales pipeline, create customer-specific win strategies, and advance opportunities through proposals, negotiations, contract execution, aircraft delivery, and transition to post-sale support.
  • Build strong customer and partner relationships. Work with aircraft operators, flight schools, fleet customers, dealers, distributors, representatives, government organizations, and other industry partners. Understand their missions, operating environments, budgets, acquisition processes, and purchasing priorities.
  • Present solutions and coordinate sales activities. Communicate aircraft capabilities, configurations, operating economics, and product support resources. Coordinate proposals, pricing discussions, sales documentation, aircraft demonstrations, customer visits, and factory tours.
  • Connect sales activity with market insight. Develop territory and account plans, monitor competitive activity, and share customer feedback. Partner with Marketing to align messaging, campaigns, sales materials, events, and lead-generation efforts with priority customers and markets.
  • Coordinate across the business. Partner with Engineering, Operations, Flight Operations, Finance, Contracts, Marketing, Aftermarket, and Product Support to develop customer solutions, fulfill commitments, and support successful aircraft deliveries.
  • Maintain accurate reporting and consistent follow-up. Keep CRM information current, including customer activity, opportunity stages, forecasts, timing, and next steps. Provide pipeline updates and sales forecasts, and represent Enstrom at customer meetings, demonstrations, trade shows, conferences, and industry events.
What You’ll Bring
  • A bachelor’s degree in Business, Aviation, Marketing, Sales, Engineering, or a related field. Equivalent relevant professional experience may be considered.
  • Demonstrated experience in sales, business development, account management, or another customer-facing commercial role, including complex or high-value opportunities and extended sales cycles.
  • The ability to prospect, build relationships, identify opportunities, advance sales activity, negotiate commercial terms, and support business closure.
  • Strong presentation, negotiation, written communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to understand technically complex products and connect their capabilities to customer requirements.
  • Strong organizational skills and follow-through, with the ability to work independently, collaborate across departments, and manage multiple opportunities and commitments.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, CRM platforms, and other business systems.
Experience That Will Help You Stand Out

Five or more years of relevant sales, business-development, account-management, or commercial experience is preferred. Experience selling aircraft, aviation products, or other high-value capital equipment is especially valuable.

We also welcome experience with helicopter operators, flight-training organizations, government and public-safety customers, utility operators, fleet customers, and international dealer or distributor networks. Familiarity with aircraft acquisition, operating economics, financing, lifecycle costs, aftermarket support, and competitive sales strategies will help you succeed.

A pilot certificate, aviation operational experience, or technical knowledge of rotorcraft is beneficial but not required.

Location, Work Arrangement & Travel

This position is based in Menominee, Michigan. Initial on-site work is required for company and product training, building cross-functional relationships, and developing an understanding of Enstrom aircraft, manufacturing operations, customers, and sales processes.

Following the initial training and acclimation period, a hybrid arrangement may be considered based on performance, assigned responsibilities, customer requirements, and business needs. Regular presence in Menominee will remain necessary for customer visits, aircraft demonstrations, meetings, training, deliveries, and other business activities.

Domestic travel is required. International travel may also be assigned based on market responsibilities and customer opportunities. Travel frequency will vary and may include occasional evening, weekend, or extended travel. A valid passport may be required for international assignments.

Bring Your Sales Experience to Enstrom

Help customers evaluate their aircraft needs, build lasting relationships, and turn new opportunities into successful aircraft deliveries.

Total compensation represents an average and will vary based on the candidate’s experience and qualifications. The compensation package will include a combination of base salary and position-specific incentives.
