POSITION SUMMARY
The Sales Operations & Customer Coordinator supports Enstrom Helicopter Corporation’s sales organization by coordinating customer activity, maintaining sales information and systems, supporting proposals and aircraft configurations, and ensuring timely follow-up throughout the sales process.
This position serves as a connection point between Sales, Marketing, Flight Operations, Contracts, Finance, Operations, Aftermarket, Product Support, and other internal teams. The role helps ensure customer inquiries, opportunities, commitments, documentation, demonstrations, and deliveries are organized and supported from initial engagement through aircraft delivery and transition to post-sale support.
The position also supports sales reporting, CRM accuracy, lead management, customer communications, and other commercial activities that help the sales team operate effectively.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Receive, track, and coordinate incoming sales leads and customer inquiries to ensure timely assignment and follow-up.
- Maintain accurate customer, lead, opportunity, forecast, and activity information in the company CRM and other applicable business systems.
- Monitor open sales activities, customer commitments, next steps, and follow-up requirements, and assist the Sales team with maintaining a consistent follow-up schedule.
- Support the preparation and coordination of aircraft proposals, specifications, configurations, pricing documents, presentations, letters of intent, and other sales materials.
- Maintain current aircraft configuration, options, pricing, availability, and related sales information in coordination with applicable internal teams.
- Coordinate customer visits, aircraft demonstrations, factory tours, sales meetings, trade shows, conferences, and other customer-facing activities.
- Assist with customer communications, meeting preparation, follow-up documentation, and action-item tracking.
- Support Sales Managers with account, territory, pipeline, and opportunity management activities.
- Prepare recurring sales reports, pipeline summaries, customer activity updates, lead reports, and other commercial information as requested.
- Support CRM data quality, reporting consistency, customer segmentation, and consistent use of sales processes.
- Coordinate with Marketing on lead-generation activities, campaign follow-up, customer lists, sales materials, events, and other commercial priorities.
- Coordinate with Flight Operations, Engineering, Operations, Finance, Contracts, Aftermarket, Product Support, and other departments to obtain information needed for customer opportunities.
- Assist with aircraft demonstration planning, including customer scheduling, aircraft availability, internal coordination, and supporting materials.
- Support contract and order documentation by coordinating required information between Sales and applicable internal departments.
- Assist with aircraft delivery preparation and customer transition to Aftermarket and Product Support.
- Maintain organized records of customer communications, proposals, agreements, specifications, and other applicable sales documentation.
- Support dealer, distributor, representative, and international customer coordination as assigned.
- Assist with market, customer, and competitive research in support of sales and business-development activities.
- Monitor general sales inquiries and route requests to the appropriate team member.
- Support improvements to sales processes, CRM workflows, reporting, templates, and customer communication practices.
- Perform other sales operations, customer coordination, and business-development support responsibilities as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Aviation, Sales, Communications, or a related field; equivalent relevant professional experience may be considered.
- Experience in sales support, customer service, account coordination, business administration, marketing support, or another customer-facing role.
- Strong organizational and follow-through skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, customer requests, and deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation, data entry, and customer information.
- Ability to work across departments and coordinate information from different functional areas.
- Ability to communicate professionally with customers, partners, leadership, and internal teams.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, CRM platforms, and other applicable business systems.
Preferred
- Experience in aviation, aerospace, manufacturing, or another technically complex industry.
- Experience supporting sales of high-value products or capital equipment.
- Experience with CRM systems, sales reporting, pipeline management, or commercial analytics.
- Experience preparing proposals, quotes, specifications, contracts, or customer-facing documentation.
- Familiarity with aircraft configurations, aviation terminology, or helicopter operations.
- Experience supporting domestic or international customers, dealers, distributors, or representatives.

LOCATION, WORK ARRANGEMENT & TRAVEL
This position is based at Enstrom Helicopter Corporation in Menominee, Michigan and requires regular on-site presence to support customers, aircraft demonstrations, internal coordination, and sales activities.
Limited domestic travel may be required for trade shows, customer events, aircraft demonstrations, or other business needs. International travel may be assigned based on customer, event, or business requirements.
