Service Metal in Maryland Heights, MO is hiring two Sales Managers to lead a nationwide PVF master distributor sales team from the corporate headquarters. You will coach and develop Sales Representatives, own the quote-to-order process, and protect gross margin while achieving sales goals.

Reporting to the National Manager, you will coordinate with finance, ERP, and operations to ensure accurate quotes, on-time order fulfillment, and a world-class customer experience.

Qualifikationen

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Direct experience managing a sales team with hands-on coaching and development.
• Proven ability to train, coach, and motivate salespeople to meet or exceed goals.
• B2B or industrial distribution experience preferred.
• Strong analytical and communication skills; data-driven decision making.

• Lead, train, coach, and motivate a team of Sales Representatives, both in person and remotely, to achieve sales goals, protect gross margin, and hit activity metrics.
• Perform tactical work to support the strategic vision in a professional sales team environment.
• Set clear expectations, give regular feedback, and complete performance evaluations.
• Manage the quote-to-order phase of the sales process.
• Ensure customer quote requests, open-order support, and problem escalations are handled accurately and on time.
• Coach Sales Representatives on pricing decisions that balance winning orders with protecting gross margin.
• Coordinate material scheduling on open orders, including backordered material.
• Partner with the Controller on new-customer vetting, onboarding, ERP setup, and reporting.
• Prepare and present sales activity, performance, and operational metrics to leadership.
• Work cross-functionally with other departments to deliver a world-class customer experience.

Service Metal is hiring two Sales Managers to lead sales teams at our corporate headquarters in Maryland Heights. Reporting to our National Manager, you will manage, motivate, coach, and develop a team of Sales Representatives who own the quote-to-order process for a nationwide PVF master distributor of pipe fittings, valves, and flanges. This role is built for a proven sales leader who has managed salespeople to goals, strengthened pricing decisions, and built a consistent customer experience from quote through order.

What You'll Do

• Lead, train, coach, and motivate a team of Sales Representatives, both in person and remotely, to achieve sales goals, protect gross margin, and hit activity metrics

What You Bring

• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred
• Experience directly managing a sales team, with salespeople reporting to you
• Proven record of training, coaching, and motivating salespeople to meet or exceed sales goals
• B2B or industrial distribution experience preferred
• Excellent analytical and communication skills and the ability to make sound decisions using data
• Highly organized, accurate, and able to manage multiple priorities
• Ability to remain calm in high-stress situations and resolve customer or employee concerns professionally
• Strong professional integrity and the ability to maintain strict confidentiality
• Comfort with Microsoft Office and ERP or proprietary business software
• Ability to work in an office, occasionally enter warehouse environments, and occasional travel to other Service Metal locations
