Job summary

Service Metal is seeking a Warehouse Operations Engineer for our St. Louis, MO headquarters to drive improvements across the warehouse network, design smarter processes, and scale operations during growth. You will partner with senior leadership to move ideas into actionable implementations on-site.

This full-time, onsite role requires a engineering degree, strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to work independently. Travel to warehouses up to 25% is expected.

• Identify and lead initiatives that improve safety, accuracy, and productivity across our warehouse network.

• Collaborate with Operations, IT, and cross-functional teams to identify, test, and implement software and ERP improvements.
• Analyze data to identify inefficiencies, reduce waste, and improve overall warehouse performance and cost structure.
• Oversee and coordinate warehouse improvement projects.
• Promote a safety-first mindset in all process improvements and operational changes.

Warehouse Operations Engineer | Service Metal | St. Louis, MO Pay: $72,800-$90,000/year | Full-Time | Business Hours, 8am-5pm | Onsite

Service Metal is looking for a driven and curious engineer who wants to make a real impact on warehouse operations. You'll work directly with senior leadership to improve how our warehouses operate, design smarter processes, solve real-world problems, and help to scale our operations for growth. You'll have the autonomy and project ownership to move quickly from idea to implementation and execution.

This is a full-time, onsite position based at our Corporate Headquarters in St. Louis, Missouri, with up to 25% travel to Service Metal warehouse locations.

What You'll Do

• Identify and lead initiatives that improve safety, accuracy, and productivity across our warehouse network
• Develop and standardize best practices across all warehouse locations to ensure consistency and scalability

What You Bring

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, Teams)
