Akkodis is seeking a Sales Manager for a Direct-Hire job with a client located in Saddle Brook, NJ (Hybrid).

Pay Range:$100,000 to $125,000 + 15% bonus. The salary may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Need local or nearby candidates only.

3-4 days/week onsite in Saddle Brook, NJ.

Job Description:

The business is a global leader in sampling packaging solutions for the fragrance and cosmetic industry. The business has around 1,600 employees, is headquartered in NYC, and has a global manufacturing footprint with 12 production facilities in Europe, the US, Brazil, and China. Its products provide a full complement of solutions for promotional sampling in the Beauty Category, which are used for in-store distribution/events, magazine inserts, catalogues, and direct mailing to customers or out-of-home sampling campaigns.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain strong sales pipelines and forecasts associated with substantiated opportunities
  • Maintain an active schedule of face-to-face appointments and prospecting calls
  • Review individual sales accounts monthly with senior management
  • Work closely with manufacturing facilities to ensure programs are delivered with the highest expectations
  • Develop with the support of marketing, sales strategies to grow the business and reach brands outside of the beauty category (Food, Health & Wellness, etc)
  • Communicate brand needs and feedback to the internal team to ensure the product roadmap is aligned with market expectations
  • Responsible for sending pricing proposals to clients and negotiating contracts if necessary
  • Work with SVP Sales to target new business and create a yearly sales budget
  • Ability to travel periodically to client meetings and industry events, as needed

Bachelor’s Degree

  • Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in sales in the beauty, fragrance, or CPG industry
  • Proven track record of exceeding set goals and quotas
  • Strong track record of bringing in new business
  • Entrepreneurial and independent, willing to be creative
  • Excellent communication skills: verbal and written
