With a robust portfolio comprising over 4,600 exceptional products, we cater to global automotive OEMs, Tier-1 suppliers, Aftermarket distributors, and Mass Merchants.
Job Summary
As a Sales Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in representing MotoRad, fostering relationships with existing and potential clients. Your responsibilities include promoting our brand, conducting training sessions, identifying growth opportunities, and maintaining a strong presence in designated territories. Successful Sales Managers can achieve substantial earning potential through consistent high sales performance.
Primary Objectives
- Cultivate positive relationships within assigned accounts to drive sales growth.
- Collaborate directly with existing clients and their customers to enhance MotoRad's sales and market share.
- Participate in trade shows and customer events, aligning with MotoRad's goals and supporting client engagement.
- Provide regular sales activity reports to clients, ensuring transparency and collaboration.
- Act as a liaison between clients and internal teams, guaranteeing customer requirements are met.
- Identify and attract prospective strategic customers to expand our market reach.
- Stay abreast of internal and external developments, proposing innovative strategies to boost sales.
- Negotiate and uphold customer contracts while actively ensuring product availability for increased sales and market share.
- Execute tasks assigned by senior management, including field research, store visits, and dealer engagements.
Required Qualifications
- In-depth understanding of the US aftermarket distribution channel, particularly major mass merchants and key customer relationships.
- Strong automotive-specific mechanical knowledge, with the ability to learn key technical elements of MotoRad’s product line.
- Advanced numerical aptitude for competitive pricing, cost analysis, and margin evaluation.
- Willingness to travel (30-40%), depending on location.
- Advanced project management capabilities.
- Ability to build robust business relationships.
- Experience in motivating, educating, and training customers.
- Professional representation of MotoRad, driving new opportunities through product ideation.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in the US automotive aftermarket.
- Strong proficiency with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Power BI.
- Preferred knowledge of SalesForce.
- Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) or equivalent 4-year college degree.
