Alliance Automotive Group UK & Ireland - UK Sales Manager for CV, OE & OES Division

Alliance Automotive Group UK & Ireland is a leading distributor of passenger and commercial vehicle parts to over 36,000 independent garages, franchise networks, and public services throughout the UK and Ireland. As UK Sales Manager for the CV, OE & OES division, you will take full responsibility for leading the divisional sales team to achieve and exceed revenue and margin quotas. Your duties include leading the existing sales team, creating and implementing strategic sales plans to build and develop enduring customer relationships.

The foundational approach will focus on:

  • Driving further increases in trading group member sales via our Goliath NDC, emphasizing private label and proprietary brands.
  • Recruiting new independent CV factors to the trading group to cover existing white spots and enhance coverage across UK & Ireland.
  • Implementing the DRIVE framework to support sales growth and loyalty among existing independent CV factor customers.
  • Identifying, prospecting, and securing new customers in CV, agricultural, heavy plant, and specialist OE/OES sectors, focusing on emerging and growing sectors to diversify and strengthen supply and reach.

This is a field-based role, and we welcome applicants from all over the UK.

Duties and Responsibilities

Lead and motivate the sales team to achieve sales goals and objectives. Responsibilities include:

  • Developing and executing strategic plans to meet sales targets.
  • Leading and motivating sales representatives to develop customer relations, increase market share, and improve sales revenue and margins.
  • Conducting monthly sales performance reviews to identify areas for improvement, define recovery actions, and assess sales pipelines.
  • Designing programmes to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Overseeing recruitment and training of sales staff.
  • Communicating the organisation’s value propositions effectively through proposals and presentations.
  • Monitoring market conditions, competitor offers, and costs to adjust pricing strategies.
  • Forecasting and setting annual sales quotas for regions and territories.
  • Analyzing market trends and results to develop profit plans.
