John Charles Search is proud to partner with a U.S.-based automation solutions provider in the search for a Senior Account Manager. This is a high-impact, full-cycle sales role suited to a proven business developer who thrives in technical environments and has deep experience in conveyor systems, robotic palletizers, and custom automation solutions.

The business is a well-established and highly respected manufacturer of turnkey systems—including case conveyors, controls, and robotic palletizing equipment—serving a broad customer base across manufacturing industries such as automotive, pharmaceuticals, electronics, and food & beverage.

Compensation & Rewards

  • On-Target Earnings (OTE): $300K+ for top performers

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the entire sales cycle: prospecting, qualification, proposal development, closing, and account management.
  • Conduct client meetings, site visits, and engage in consultative sales to understand customer requirements and present tailored automation solutions.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering and operations to ensure solution feasibility and successful project delivery.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through regular follow-up, strategic communication, and post-sale support.
  • Represent the company’s exceptionally clean, organized, and well-equipped facility as a key selling point during customer visits.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • 5+ years in technical sales, preferably in automation, material handling, or industrial capital equipment.
  • Strong working knowledge of robotic palletizers, conveyor systems, and/or custom automated machinery.
  • Proven track record of success in a hunter-style role – must be proactive in generating and developing leads.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills – must be polished, professional, and comfortable in client-facing situations.
  • Bonus: Educational background in communications or related fields, or standout people skills.
