Location: Remote based out of Chicago, Denver or Minneapolis | Travel Required

Reports To: Vice President

Position Summary

ODRA Road Sweepers is seeking a driven and strategic Sales Manager – North to lead sales efforts across Canada and the Northern half of the U.S. This role will oversee ODRA distribution in the territory via both direct sales and distributors. You will be responsible for all street sweeper sales in the territory including both municipal and private contractors. You will also play a critical role in mentoring regional sales reps, executing growth plans, and building relationships with new and existing dealers.

This is a high-impact leadership role ideal for a sales professional experienced in capital equipment, industrial equipment, and multi-state/regional oversight.

Territory Scope

  • Northern half of the United States
  • Canada

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop strategic sales plans to meet growth goals within the territory
  • Manage and grow direct sales across assigned region
  • Recruit, manage, and coach sales representatives in direct markets
  • Lead and support dealer sales relationships, onboarding, and performance tracking
  • Collaborate with marketing, operations, and leadership to support go-to-market efforts
  • Represent ODRA at industry events, client demos, and municipal RFP discussions
  • Monitor territory performance, lead pipelines, and forecasts
  • Deliver regular sales activity reports and growth recommendations

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5–7 years of experience in sales management (manufacturer experience preferred over distributor roles)
  • Experience overseeing both dealer channels and direct municipal/contractor sales
  • Strong familiarity with capital equipment or industrial equipment sales (sweepers, heavy-duty machinery, construction, or similar industries)
  • Proven ability to grow a territory and lead sales teams across multiple states or provinces
  • Comfortable with extensive travel and remote team management
  • Excellent relationship-building and negotiation skills
  • Strong understanding of public procurement and dealer/distributor networks
