Job description

Position Summary: The Sales Manager delivers an outstanding experience for every prospective client event— from their very first inquiry, through every stage of the sales pipeline, to a flawlessly executed event and beyond. This role owns the full client journey for an assigned region: generating new leads, guiding prospects through each stage of the sales process, and converting inquiries into booked event business. • Ensure proper payment handling procedures are being followed; Including correctly charging each guest for their event, collecting deposits and final payments and reconciling final event invoice amounts
  • Ensure successful event execution by partnering with the operations team by using excellent communication, including documenting events in detail on Banquet Event Orders and running all BEO meetings in their assigned region
  • Strong understanding of the specific needs of different event types, such as weddings, field trips, corporate events, etc.
