Proactive HRBP | Driving HR Strategy for Organizational Success | Employee Engagement Champion

The Sales Professional is responsible for overseeing the sales activities of portable storage buildings, including storage units, sheds, and related products. This position involves managing a sales budget, setting targets, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction, and driving revenue growth within the market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy & Execution:
  • With the direction of the VP of Sales, develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet or exceed company targets.
  • Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
  • Identify new sales opportunities, including untapped markets, partnerships, and industries.
  • With the direction of the VP of Sales, implement pricing strategies, ensuring they are competitive and aligned with company objectives.
  • Customer Relationship Management:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, dealers, and distributors.
  • Oversee the customer sales process from lead generation to product delivery and post-sale support.
  • Address customer inquiries, concerns, and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Work closely with customer service and logistics to ensure timely and efficient delivery.
  • Prepare regular sales reports to track progress against goals, revenue forecasts, and other key performance indicators.
  • Analyze sales data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Assist in developing sales forecasts and budgets.
  • Product Knowledge & Marketing:
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, product innovations, and customer needs.
  • Provide feedback to product development teams on customer preferences and product improvements.
  • Collaborate with marketing to design promotional campaigns and sales materials.
  • Business Development:
  • Negotiate contracts and terms with large clients, contractors, or bulk buyers.
  • Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and other networking events to generate new business opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field (preferred, not required).
  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in the construction, storage, or modular buildings industry.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in a Sales role
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet sales targets.
  • Knowledge of CRM systems and sales software.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills
