Description

SALES LEADER – Part-Time

We are looking for enthusiastic, energetic, friendly, and hard-working part-time Sales Leaders! The Sales Leader is responsible for providing exemplary selling and customer service to improve store productivity and profitability. This includes offering product recommendations, serving as a role model for retail best practices, and focusing on sales, service, and relationship-building. The role also involves sharing product knowledge, executing store communications, managing daily tasks, and possibly opening and/or closing the store.

Additional responsibilities include inventory management, conducting product sets, stocking, housekeeping, and stockroom duties. The Sales Leader works closely with the corporate team and reports to the Store Manager.

Essential Job Functions:

  1. Create a warm, inviting shopping environment.
  2. Build expertise on products, promotions, and rewards programs tailored to customer needs.
  3. Support store management and assist customers in finding suitable products.
  4. Share stories and promote community engagement.
  5. Handle store operations efficiently, including replenishment, ringing sales, managing inventory, and fulfilling orders.
  6. Deliver an inspiring shopping experience that encourages customer return.
  7. Work as a team to meet sales goals.
  8. Uphold company policies.
  9. Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Required Qualifications:

  • At least 1 year of retail, sales, or customer service experience.
  • Must be 18+ years old.
  • Ability to open and close the store at least three times a week and work two weekend shifts monthly.
  • Flexible schedule including evenings, holidays, and weekends.
  • Proof of legal work eligibility in the U.S.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2+ years in retail, sales, or customer service.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

  • Strong customer engagement and consultative selling skills.
  • Effective communication skills and adaptability.
  • Ability to use computers and technology.
  • Willingness to learn and assist in training new employees.
  • Accountability for store assets and records.

Working Conditions & Physical Demands:

  • Standing, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds, and other physical activities.
  • Exposure to various environmental conditions.
  • Continuous communication with customers and team members.

Employment Status:

This is a part-time, hourly, non-exempt position working 10-28 hours weekly, with no more than 28 hours on average.
