Job summary

Power Wellness in NorthPointe is seeking a proactive Sales Lead to oversee the daily activities of the sales department, recruit and enroll new memberships, and represent the center in the community.

This full-time role requires at least 2 years in sales, marketing or customer service, plus supervisory experience; CPR/AED certification required within 90 days. The position offers hourly pay, commission, and a comprehensive benefits package including insurance and a 401(k).

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree in sales, marketing or related field preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in sales, marketing and/or customer service preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience preferred.
• CPR/AED certification required within 90 days of hire (provided by Power Wellness)
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and maintain a professional demeanor.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Excellent sales, marketing, writing, presentation and tracking skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the Sales Associates in their daily activities.
• Proficiently sell memberships and all ancillary services included but not limited to personal training, massage therapy, medically-integrated programs, and nutrition services to achieve departmental and organizational goals.
• Secure and manage corporate, medically referred, community referred and all other memberships.
• Maintain lead and prospect tracking records, providing consistent and timely follow up.
• Be able to conduct a center tour to all prospects, using tour guide policy.
• Support the new member fitness assessment process, including introduction of the new member to the fitness team, scheduling assessments, etc.
• Represent the center by attending off-site events such as health fairs, corporate events and speaking engagements with the intent of sharing center information and procuring memberships.
• Solicit and enroll new community partners.
• Assist with department work schedules and time cards.
• Assist with hiring and training all Sales Associates.
• Work Manager on Duty shifts as assigned.
• Other duties as assigned.
