Healthtrax in New Jersey is hiring a Membership Sales Associate to achieve fitness center membership quotas. You will build rapport with prospects, conduct center tours, present rates, and close sign-ups.
The role blends inside and outside prospecting, including networking in the community, booking appointments, handling customer service concerns, and supporting member retention. A Bachelor's is preferred but not required; experience in fitness industry is a plus.

Our fitness Membership Sales Associate is responsible for attainment of fitness center membership sales quotas in a manner that builds rapport and fosters new member retention. The position involves both inside and outside prospecting activities including, but not limited to: self-generation of new membership leads, networking in community, booking and confirming appointments by phone or internet, conducting center tours, presenting rates, asking for the sale, obtaining referrals, building trust, handling customer service concerns and following up with prospects that did not become members.
Our Membership Sales Associates are team players who work cooperatively with co-workers to achieve the Center's goals and deliver exemplary customer service, including assisting in cleaning and safety protocols.
Retails sales with track record of achieving required goals. A Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management, Business, Marketing or the equivalent, desired not required. Previous experience within the fitness, health and wellness industry preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Compensation: $50,000 - $75,000 in year one.
