Job summary

Visionworks is seeking a Sr. Optical Specialist - Lead/Sales Lead to be the face of our store, guiding patients through the Visionworks journey with expert product knowledge and a friendly, bold approach.

You will drive sales, engage customers, and ensure eyewear is right the first time while supporting daily store operations and training to stay current on optics and services.

Qualifications

• 12 months optical experience required (Visionworks or another organization) or ABO Certification in lieu of experience
• Related customer or patient experience preferred
• HS diploma, GED or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Deliver daily sales goals by ensuring the best execution of the Customer/Patient Experience journey
• Engage with patients/customers and recommend products and services that meet their eye care needs
• Measure patients/customers for eyewear and maintain product/optical knowledge through continuous training
• Execute day-to-day store operations including restocking, merchandising, and order fulfillment

Pay Class: Part Time

Pay Rate: $11.86 - 16.01 per hr

The Role:

A VisionworksSr. Optical Specialist - Lead/Sales Lead is the very face of our business and is dedicated to ensuring the best possible journey for every patient and customer. This person is trained and knowledgeable about optics, our products/servicesand managed vision care. The person takes the patient/customer through the Visionworks experience ensuring their eyewear needs are met in a simple,humanand bold way.

• Delivers daily sales goals by ensuring the best execution of the Customer/Patient Experience journey
• Engage with patients/customers and recommend products and services that meet their eye care needs
• Measure patients/customers for their eyewear andmaintainproduct/optical knowledge through cont. training and development to ensure eyewear isRight the First Time
• Execute day-to-dayoperational activities to support the store's financial and customer experience goals including restocking inventory, merchandising, and order fulfillment of eyewear to ship

Qualifications:

• 12 months optical experience necessary (within Visionworks or otherorganization) orABO Certification in lieu of experience
• Related customer or patient experience preferred, but not necessary
• HS diploma, GED or equivalent related job experience
