Job summary

Visionworks in Skokie, IL is seeking a Part-time Sr. Optical Specialist - Lead to be the face of the store and ensure the best journey for every patient and customer.

You will apply optical knowledge, train on products/services, and guide customers through eyewear selection, fitting, and ordering. A friendly, human, bold approach helps you exceed daily sales goals and maintain stock and merchandising standards.

Qualifications

• 12 months optical experience or ABO certification in lieu of experience.
• Customer/patient experience preferred but not required.
• HS diploma, GED or equivalent related job experience.

Responsibilities

• Delivers daily sales goals by ensuring best execution of the Customer/Patient Experience.
• Engage with patients/customers and recommend products and services.
• Measure eyewear fits and maintain product/optical knowledge through training.
• Support store operations including restocking, merchandising, and order fulfillment.

The Role:

A Visionworks Sr. Optical Specialist - Lead/Sales Lead is the very face of our business and is dedicated to ensuring the best possible journey for every patient and customer. This person is trained and knowledgeable about optics, our products/servicesand managed vision care. The person takes the patient/customer through the Visionworks experience ensuring their eyewear needs are met in a simple,humanand bold way.

• Delivers daily sales goals by ensuring the best execution of the Customer/Patient Experience journey
• Engage with patients/customers and recommend products and services that meet their eye care needs
• Measure patients/customers for their eyewear and maintainproduct/optical knowledge through cont. training and development to ensure eyewear is Right the First Time
• Execute day-to-day operational activities to support the store's financial and customer experience goals including restocking inventory, merchandising, and order fulfillment of eyewear to ship

Qualifications:

• 12 months optical experience necessary (within Visionworks or otherorganization) or ABO Certification in lieu of experience
• Related customer or patient experience preferred, but not necessary
• HS diploma, GED or equivalent related job experience
