Job summary

Visionworks is seeking a Sr. Optical Specialist - Lead/Sales Lead to be the face of our brand in-store. You will guide customers through the Visionworks experience, recommend eyewear and ensure each patient finds the right fit.

Ideal candidates have 12 months optical experience or ABO certification, HS diploma or GED, and strong customer service skills. This is a part-time position offering Vision Coverage and other benefits.

Qualifications

• 12 months optical experience required ( Visionworks or other) or ABO Certification in lieu of experience.
• HS diploma, GED or equivalent related job experience.
• Related customer or patient experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Delivers daily sales goals by ensuring best Customer/Patient Experience.
• Engage with patients/customers and recommend products/services.
• Measure eyewear fits and maintain product knowledge through training.
• Execute day-to-day store operations including restocking, merchandising and order fulfillment.

The Role:

A Visionworks Sr. Optical Specialist - Lead/Sales Lead is the very face of our business and is dedicated to ensuring the best possible journey for every patient and customer. This person is trained and knowledgeable about optics, our products/servicesand managed vision care. The person takes the patient/customer through the Visionworks experience ensuring their eyewear needs are met in a simple,humanand bold way.

• Delivers daily sales goals by ensuring the best execution of the Customer/Patient Experience journey
• Engage with patients/customers and recommend products and services that meet their eye care needs
• Measure patients/customers for their eyewear and maintainproduct/optical knowledge through cont. training and development to ensure eyewear is Right the First Time
• Execute day-to-day operational activities to support the store's financial and customer experience goals including restocking inventory, merchandising, and order fulfillment of eyewear to ship

Qualifications:

• 12 months optical experience necessary (within Visionworks or otherorganization) or ABO Certification in lieu of experience
• Related customer or patient experience preferred, but not necessary
• HS diploma, GED or equivalent related job experience
