Job summary

Visionworks is seeking a Sr. Optical Specialist - Lead to be the face of our store, guiding customers through a seamless eyewear journey. You're trained in optics, confident explaining products and services, and dedicated to serving patients with a bold, human touch.

You will drive daily sales, engage customers, and ensure proper eyewear fit while maintaining product knowledge and accuracy. This role also covers routine store operations and inventory management.

Qualifications

• 12 months optical experience or ABO Certification in lieu of experience.
• Related customer or patient experience preferred.
• HS diploma, GED or equivalent related job experience.

Responsibilities

• Delivers daily sales goals by ensuring the best execution of the Customer/Patient Experience journey.
• Engage with patients/customers and recommend products and services that meet their eye care needs.
• Measure patients/customers for their eyewear and maintain product/optical knowledge through cont. training to ensure eyewear is Right the First Time.
• Execute day-to-day operational activities to support store financial and customer experience goals including restocking inventory, merchandising, and order fulfillment of eyewear to ship.

The Role:

A VisionworksSr. Optical Specialist - Lead/Sales Lead is the very face of our business and is dedicated to ensuring the best possible journey for every patient and customer. This person is trained and knowledgeable about optics, our products/servicesand managed vision care. The person takes the patient/customer through the Visionworks experience ensuring their eyewear needs are met in a simple,humanand bold way.
