Job summary

Visionworks is seeking a Sr. Optical Specialist - Lead/Sales Lead to be the face of our store, guiding patients through the Visionworks journey with knowledgeable optics guidance.

The role emphasizes meeting eyewear needs, driving sales goals, and delivering a bold, human experience. 12 months optical experience or ABO certification is required, with HS diploma or GED.

• Customer or patient service experience accepted.
• HS diploma, GED or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Delivers daily sales goals by ensuring optimal Customer/Patient Experience.
• Engage with patients and recommend products and services meeting eye care needs.
• Measure eyewear needs and maintain product knowledge through ongoing training.
• Support store operations including restocking, merchandising and order fulfillment.

The Role:

A Visionworks Sr. Optical Specialist - Lead/Sales Lead is the very face of our business and is dedicated to ensuring the best possible journey for every patient and customer. This person is trained and knowledgeable about optics, our products/servicesand managed vision care. The person takes the patient/customer through the Visionworks experience ensuring their eyewear needs are met in a simple,humanand bold way.

• Delivers daily sales goals by ensuring the best execution of the Customer/Patient Experience journey


• Engage with patients/customers and recommend products and services that meet their eye care needs


• Measure patients/customers for their eyewear and maintain product/optical knowledge through cont. training and development to ensure eyewear is Right the First Time


• Execute day-to-day operational activities to support the store's financial and customer experience goals including restocking inventory, merchandising, and order fulfillment of eyewear to ship

Qualifications:

• 12 months optical experience necessary (within Visionworks or otherorganization) or ABO Certification in lieu of experience


• Related customer or patient experience preferred, but not necessary


• HS diploma, GED or equivalent related job experience
