Job summary

Visionworks is seeking a Sr. Optical Specialist - Lead/Sales Lead in Orlando, FL. This senior sales role blends customer service with optical knowledge to guide patients through their eyewear journey and ensure best-fit solutions.

The position involves meeting daily sales goals, engaging with customers, and maintaining product expertise through ongoing training, with part-time hours and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• 12 months optical experience or ABO Certification in lieu of experience.
• Related customer or patient experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Delivers daily sales goals by ensuring the best execution of the Customer/Patient Experience journey.
• Engage with patients/customers and recommend products and services that meet their eye care needs.
• Measure patients/customers for eyewear and maintain product/optical knowledge through ongoing training to ensure eyewear is right the first time.
• Execute day-to-day operational activities to support the store's goals including restocking inventory, merchandising, and order fulfillment of eyewear.

Pay Rate: $15 -18.54 per hr

The Role

A Visionworks Sr. Optical Specialist - Lead/Sales Lead is the very face of our business and is dedicated to ensuring the best possible journey for every patient and customer. This person is trained and knowledgeable about optics, our products/servicesand managed vision care. The person takes the patient/customer through the Visionworks experience ensuring their eyewear needs are met in a simple,humanand bold way.

• Delivers daily sales goals by ensuring the best execution of the Customer/Patient Experience journey
• Engage with patients/customers and recommend products and services that meet their eye care needs
• Measure patients/customers for their eyewear andmaintainproduct/optical knowledge through cont. training and development to ensure eyewear isRight the First Time
• Executeday-to-dayoperational activities to support the store's financial and customer experience goals including restocking inventory, merchandising, and order fulfillment of eyewear to ship

Qualifications

• 12 months optical experience necessary (within Visionworks or otherorganization) orABO Certification in lieu of experience
• Related customer or patient experience preferred, but not necessary
• HS diploma, GED or equivalent related job experience
