Job summary

Visionworks in Lafayette, LA is seeking a part-time Sr. Optical Specialist - Lead to be the face of our store and guide customers through the Visionworks experience with a simple, human, and bold approach.

Ideal candidates will have optical experience, strong customer service, a HS diploma or GED, and ABO certification if applicable. You will help meet daily sales goals and support store operations while ensuring patients look great and see great.

Qualifications

• 12 months optical experience required or ABO Certification in lieu of experience
• Related customer or patient experience is preferred
• HS diploma, GED or equivalent related job experience

Responsibilities

• Delivers daily sales goals by ensuring the best execution of the Customer/Patient Experience journey
• Engage with patients/customers and recommend products and services that meet their eye care needs
• Measure patients/customers for their eyewear and maintain product/optical knowledge through cont. training to ensure eyewear is Right the First Time
• Execute day-to-day operational activities to support the store's financial and customer experience goals including restocking inventory, merchandising, and order fulfillment of eyewear to ship

The Role:

A VisionworksSr. Optical Specialist - Lead/Sales Leadis the very face of our business and is dedicated to ensuring the best possible journey for every patient and customer. This person is trained and knowledgeable about optics, our products/servicesand managed vision care. The person takes the patient/customer through the Visionworks experience ensuring their eyewear needs are met in a simple,humanand bold way.
