Job summary

Visionworks in Lafayette, LA is seeking a Sr. Optical Specialist - Lead/Sales Lead to be the face of our store and guide customers through the eyewear journey. You will be trained in optics, products, and managed vision care to ensure every eyewear need is met with a simple, human, bold approach.

The role requires 12 months optical experience or ABO certification, and a passion for exceptional customer service. This is a part-time position with competitive benefits for eligible employees.

Qualifications

• 12 months optical experience required (Visionworks or other).
• Customer or patient service experience preferred.
• HS diploma, GED or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Delivers daily sales goals by ensuring best customer journey.
• Engage with patients/customers and recommend eyewear products.
• Measure patients for eyewear and maintain product knowledge through training.
• Support store operations including restocking, merchandising and order fulfillment.

The Role:

A VisionworksSr. Optical Specialist - Lead/Sales Leadis the very face of our business and is dedicated to ensuring the best possible journey for every patient and customer. This person is trained and knowledgeable about optics, our products/servicesand managed vision care. The person takes the patient/customer through the Visionworks experience ensuring their eyewear needs are met in a simple,humanand bold way.

• Delivers daily sales goals by ensuring the best execution of the Customer/Patient Experience journey


• Engage with patients/customers and recommend products and services that meet their eye care needs


• Measure patients/customers for their eyewear andmaintainproduct/optical knowledge through cont. training and development to ensure eyewear isRight the First Time


• Execute day-to-day operational activities to support the store's financial and customer experience goals including restocking inventory, merchandising, and order fulfillment of eyewear to ship

Qualifications:

• 12 months optical experience necessary (within Visionworks or otherorganization) orABO Certification in lieu of experience


• Related customer or patient experience preferred, but not necessary


• HS diploma, GED or equivalent related job experience
