Soma in Albuquerque, NM is seeking a Sales Lead to partner with store leaders, supervise the team, and provide leadership on the sales floor. You will set the tone for brand standards and create memorable, customer-centered experiences reflecting our hospitality culture.

You will assist with opening/closing, stock, and daily operations while coaching staff and communicating brand priorities. This role emphasizes teamwork, inclusivity, and hands-on leadership to drive results.

Qualifications

• 2 years of retail management experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to bend, reach, stretch for products and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Flexible availability — including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist the store leadership team with general store operations, including opening and closing responsibilities.
• Actively share brand priorities, initiatives, and messages with store teams.
• Lead by example on the sales floor, sharing product knowledge and utilizing an omni-channel approach.
• Provide coaching and encouragement to keep the team on track with performance goals.
• Execute operations activities, including cash handling, scheduling, inventory management, and merchandise replenishment.
• Be knowledgeable about current sales, promotions, and store policies.
• Support associate development, provide coaching feedback, and assist with scheduling when needed.
• Share ideas and insights with the store leadership team.
• Contribute to a positive work environment by embracing teamwork with peers and leaders.
