Job summary

Soma is seeking a Sales Lead to work with store leaders to supervise staff, model exemplary behavior, and support leadership tasks. You will uphold brand standards and foster a welcoming, customer-centric environment that goes beyond transactions to create memorable experiences reflecting our hospitality culture.

In this role you will guide the team, share brand priorities, manage daily operations, and coach associates while maintaining a positive work atmosphere and high service levels.

Qualifications

• 2 years of retail management experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to develop strong customer and peer relationships.
• Team player mindset with ownership and initiative.
• Flexible availability — including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to bend, reach, stretch for products and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist the store leadership team with general store operations, including opening and closing responsibilities.
• Actively share brand priorities, initiatives, and messages with store teams.
• Lead by example on the sales floor, sharing product knowledge and utilizing an omni-channel approach.
• Provide coaching and encouragement to keep the team on track with performance goals.
• Execute operations activities, including cash handling, scheduling, inventory management, and merchandise replenishment.
• Be knowledgeable about current sales, promotions, and store policies.
• Support associate development, provide coaching feedback, and assist with scheduling.
