Job summary

Caleres is seeking a Famous Footwear Sales Lead in Des Moines to inspire teammates and deliver the best shoe store experience. You’ll foster a welcoming in-store culture, coach selling behaviors, and own store operations and customer connections to drive results.

You’ll mentor associates, manage shifts, and help ensure a top-notch customer journey across brands. A high school diploma, retail know-how, and the ability to work a flexible schedule are required.

Qualifications

• Has a High School Diploma/GED.
• Proficient working knowledge of general retail practices and procedures.
• Some retail store management experience or relevant management experience in lieu.
• Previous experience being on a team and motivating others to accomplish a goal.
• Manages multiple tasks and communicates direction set by the store manager.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor and train Associates on selling and operational processes.
• Demonstrated ability to work a flexible schedule including holidays, nights, weekends, and extended hours.
