Job summary

Vans in Huntsville, AL is seeking a Sales Lead to join our store team. You will support the leadership group by ensuring the highest level of customer engagement and driving sales results, while modeling the Vans voice and coaching associates.

The role emphasizes a consumer-centered mindset, inclusive environment, and the ability to cover breaks or open the store. Prior retail experience is valued, high school diploma preferred, and part-time hours with an hourly wage between $16 and $19.66.

Qualifications

• 1 year of related professional retail experience is preferred but not required.
• A High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred; but we value hands-on experience and demonstrated achievements most.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a high level of personalized customer engagement through genuine interactions.
• Assist in maximizing and achieving store sales and goals by monitoring sales progress and results against key targets.
• Foster a consumer centric mindset and an inclusive store environment, while modeling selling behaviors through genuine interactions with consumers.
• Assist in providing direct feedback, coaching and supervision of the associates.
• Occasionally assume responsibility for the store in the absence of another manager.
• Regularly interact with consumers within the store, providing a high level of customer service.
• Provide actionable feedback to store associates and adhere to policies, procedures and practices that align with company directives.
