Famous Footwear is seeking a Sales Lead to drive the in-store customer experience and sales performance. You’ll foster a welcoming environment, coach teammates, and ensure smooth store operations while maintaining our Famous Feeling.

You will mentor Associates, manage diverse tasks, and uphold policies to deliver top customer service. A passion for shoes and teamwork helps you elevate every customer interaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Proficient in general retail practices and procedures.
• Store management experience or relevant management in lieu.
• Experience mentoring and training Associates on selling and operational processes.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and follow directions from the store manager.
• Flexible schedule including holidays, nights, weekends, and extended hours.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspire and coach teammates to deliver the Famous Feeling and Customer Connection.
• Drive sales with accountability and goal focus to contribute to store performance.
• Be the point person for retail operations from pricing to inventory and store upkeep.
• Open and close the store, maintain a clean, organized environment that showcases our styles.
• Uphold company policies and collaborate with teammates to complete tasks efficiently.
• Champion the Famous culture and deliver consistent, attentive customer experiences.
• Recommend shoes and ensure customers leave the store with the perfect fit and confidence.
