Job summary

Foot Locker is seeking a part-time Sales Lead to support the Store Manager in driving sales, coaching the team, and keeping the store running smoothly. You will engage customers, lead by example on the floor, and help deliver an exceptional sneaker-culture experience.

This role requires mid-level retail experience, flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, and a proactive, owner/operator mindset to protect standards and deliver results.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of retail experience, preferably in a leadership or key holding role.
• Ability to coach, motivate, and engage a diverse team.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example on the sales floor with energy, confidence, and solutions to every customer interaction.
• Coach the team to deliver great service and share product knowledge.
• Support sales goals by staying engaged on the floor and helping close the loop with customers.
• Help manage daily store operations including opening/closing, cash handling, and floor coverage.
• Keep the store organized, customer ready, and running smoothly.
• Follow safety, loss prevention, and SOPs to protect customers, teammates, and product.
• Take an owner/operator mindset and address issues, maintain standards, and own store execution.
• Leverage retail technology to enhance the customer experience and support operations.
• Serve as Manager on Duty when scheduled, providing leadership and direction.
• Assist with hiring, onboarding, and training of store associates.
• Coach teammates in real time, recognize wins, and close performance gaps.
• Jump in wherever needed to support the team and store priorities.
