Dollar General Corporation seeks a Lead Sales Associate in Lorain, OH to provide customer-focused leadership on the sales floor. You will assist customers, manage transactions, stock merchandise, and help maintain a clean, organized store.

In this role, you may open and close the store, support planogram execution, train teammates in basic procedures, and step in for store leadership in their absence. Strong communication and math skills are required.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent and six months of supervisory experience (or related experience/training) preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills essential.
• Ability to read and follow planograms and merchandise presentation guides.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic and cash handling tasks.
• Familiarity with cash register functions and safety procedures.

Responsabilidades

• Provide superior customer service leadership; greet and assist customers.
• Operate cash register and scanner to total purchases, collect payment and bag items.
• Receive, open/unpack merchandise; stock and rotate on shelves; build displays.
• Keep the store clean; take out trash; dust/mop floors; clean restrooms and stockroom; outdoor displays.
• Assist in implementation and maintenance of planograms.
• Open and close the store under direction of the Store Manager.
• Perform duties of Store Manager/Asst Manager in their absence.
