Job summary

QVC Group, Inc. is seeking a Sales Lead to deliver an inspiring shopping experience and lead a store team at the West Chester, OH location. You will promote the Ballard Designs brand alongside other banners and guide the team to meet and exceed sales and service standards.

You will report to the Store Leader and support store operations, product knowledge, and customer engagement in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in the specialty retail industry.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to lift and move items up to 50 lbs.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook and POS systems.

As a Sales Lead, you will deliver an inspiring shopping experience in which our guests feel inspired and empowered to customize their space. You will promote the Ballard Designs brand at every guest encounter and ensure your stellar team exemplifies brand values, standards, and experiences. Your leadership will guide company programs, increase sales and set your store to exceed all expectations. You will report to the Store Leader.

Where You'll Work

This role is onsite and will require you to work from our West Chester, OH, location daily. Relocation assistance is not available for this role. Store Hours Mon - Sat: 10am - 6pm | Sun: 12pm - 6pm

What You'll Do

• Exemplify the guest experience; passionate about providing exceptional service and leading a team of service-minded associates
• Coach team members on product knowledge and empower them with the tools necessary to meet the needs of our guest
• Partner with Sales Lead-Visual Merchandising on product and assortment needs to ensure the store is visually compelling.
• Perform store opening, closing, and banking activities.

What You'll Bring

• 3+ years of experience in the specialty retail industry, but not required.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays for floor-set execution.
• Ability to lift and mobilize medium to large items, up to 50lbs
• Proficiency using Microsoft Word, Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets), Outlook, and POS systems.
• Additional physical requirements may be required i.e. climbing ladders.
