Job summary

1915 South | Ashley is hiring a Sales Lead in Tallahassee, FL. The role drives sales on the showroom floor and provides leadership in the absence of a store manager.

You will motivate the team, ensure excellent customer service, and manage inventory, promotions, and cash handling while upholding store standards and policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in furniture retail is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead sales on the floor and provide floor leadership in the absence of a manager.
• Deliver excellent customer experience and guest support.
• Oversee inventory, promotions, and cash handling.
• Supervise facilities and building upkeep.
• Lead culture, communicate with the team in huddles.
• Maintain store operations and standards.
• Train and manage performance of associates.
• Prepare KPI reports and participate in management meetings.
• Support Bedding/Finance products as needed.

Position Summary:

The Sales Lead actively sells while providing floor leadership in the absence of a manager. Compensation is driven by individual sales performance, with bonus opportunities tied to coaching effectiveness and associate development.

Required Qualifications:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent, required
• Experience: Retail sales, specifically furniture, preferred

Physical and Work Environment Requirements:

• Physical Demands: Standing/walking for extended periods; occasional lifting
• Work Environment: Retail Sales Floor
• Schedule: Weekdays, Weekends, and Holidays, as required
