Job summary

Visionworks in Leesburg, VA seeks a Sr. Optical Specialist - Lead/Sales Lead to be the face of our store, guiding customers through the Visionworks experience and ensuring eyewear needs are met simply, humanely, and boldly.

You will drive daily sales goals, engage with patients to recommend products, and maintain product knowledge through ongoing training to ensure the right eyewear is the first time.

Qualifications

• 12 months optical experience or ABO Certification
• Related customer or patient experience preferred
• HS diploma, GED or equivalent related job experience

Responsibilities

• Delivers daily sales goals by ensuring the best execution of the Customer/Patient Experience journey
• Engage with patients/customers and recommend products and services that meet their eye care needs
• Measure patients/customers for their eyewear and maintain optical knowledge through cont. training and development
• Execute day-to-day operational activities to support the store's financial and customer experience goals including restocking inventory, merchandising, and order fulfillment of eyewear to ship

The Role:

A Visionworks Sr. Optical Specialist - Lead/Sales Lead is the very face of our business and is dedicated to ensuring the best possible journey for every patient and customer. This person is trained and knowledgeable about optics, our products/servicesand managed vision care. The person takes the patient/customer through the Visionworks experience ensuring their eyewear needs are met in a simple,humanand bold way.
