Job summary

Airgas is hiring a Sales Intern in Tulsa, OK. The role supports the sales team by generating awareness, qualifying leads, and delivering proposals. You will work closely with branch managers and the e-business team to setup customers on Airgas.com.

The position requires enrollment in a Business or Sales program, with preference for third or fourth year students. Strong communication, math and teamwork are essential, along with proficiency in Google Suite.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a university majoring in Business, Sales or similar.
• Third or fourth year student preferred.
• Prior outside sales or service experience preferred.
• Strong数学calculation, problem solving and analytical abilities.
• Customer-focused with ability to build relationships and understand needs.
• Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work in a team environment and learn quickly.
• Proficient with Google suite applications (Gmail, Sheets, Docs).
• Legally eligible to work full-time in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Assist in various stages of the sales process to generate awareness and leads.
• Work with area sales team to promote sales and manage customer relationships.
• Prepare and deliver quotes, proposals, and presentations.
• Qualify leads and relay information to relevant Airgas teams.
• Maintain territory performance and market trend data for leadership.
• Submit timely sales activity reports and call logs.
