Steel Dynamics Structural & Rail Division is offering a Sales Intern position in the United States. You will support inside sales, manage customer inquiries, and assist with order entry, quotes, and related administrative tasks.

Ideal candidates are business/marketing students who are highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Travel may be required; internships include housing and 401(k) options and other benefits.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in business or marketing.
• Junior year completed is required.
• Preferred GPA of at least 2.7.
• Proficient with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to work in a team and help teammates daily.
• Excellent attention to detail and multitasking ability.
• Strong data entry skills and accuracy.
• Flexible to changing priorities.
• Able to communicate with all levels of staff.
• Must maintain confidentiality and travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Handle customer service tasks and respond to inquiries and emails promptly.
• Assist Inside Sales Representatives with order entry, quotes, and admin tasks.
• Provide customer support on product availability, delivery status, and troubleshooting.
• Maintain pricing and freight data accuracy.
• Prepare, analyze, and distribute reports to support sales operations.
