Job summary

Metallus in Canton, OH is offering a Full Time – Summer 2027 internship in account management within the steel/manufacturing industry. You will shadow and support Account Managers to learn skills in prospecting, cold calling, presentation, and pricing, gaining real-world experience in a thriving sales environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5.
• Must have completed 30 or more credit hours by end of spring 2027 semester.
• Must be a full-time student attending an accredited two-year or four-year college/university.

Responsibilities

• Learn about account management in the steel/manufacturing industry.
• Shadow and support Account Managers to learn skills in prospecting, cold calling, presentation, and pricing.
• Gain understanding of sales pipeline and process from inquiry to shipment of product.
• Understand Metallus capabilities/offerings, market segments, and competitive landscape.
• Shadow Account Managers on local travel to customers for meetings and plant tours.
