Job summary

Musco Lighting is offering a Summer Sales Intern position at our Corporate Headquarters in Oskaloosa, IA. The role provides hands-on exposure to Musco’s sales processes, customer-focused solutions, and field sales support, with opportunities to build communication, problem-solving, and project-management skills through team collaboration.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Sports and Rec Management, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Motivated self-starter and collaborative problem solver.
• Strong computer skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Travel with Regional Sales Associates and Sales Representatives to observe and support customer sales calls.
• Partner with the Director of USA Field Sales, Regional Sales Managers, and Sales Associate Supervisor to support Musco sales functions.
• Work alongside RSAs to understand the marketplace and Musco’s solutions.
• Assist with developing plans to complete lighting audits, market research, and other projects.
• Support customer tours of Musco facilities by assisting with preparation and coordination.
• Conduct market research and contribute to the college conference final group project.
• Full-time availability Monday–Friday, 8 am to 5 pm; flexibility for evenings, Saturdays, and special events.
• Overnight travel as needed.
• Valid U.S. driver's license required.

The Musco Operational Sales Team has an opening for a Sales Intern at our Corporate Headquarters in Oskaloosa, IA. The Sales Intern supports Musco’s Sales Teams by gaining practical experience in sales processes, customer-focused solutions, and field sales support. Essential Criteria

• Freshman, Sophomore, or Junior pursuing a bachelor's degree in Sports and Rec Management, Business, Marketing, or a related field
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills

• Strong computer skills in standard MS Office products such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint

Roles And Responsibilities

• Travel with Regional Sales Associates (RSA) and Sales Representatives to observe and support customer sales calls
• Partner with the Director of USA Field Sales, Regional Sales Managers, and Sales Associate Supervisor to support Musco sales functions and Team initiatives
• Work alongside RSAs to build an understanding of the marketplace and Musco’s solutions
• Assist with developing plans to complete lighting audits, key market research, and other special projects as assigned
• Support customer tours of Musco facilities by assisting with preparation and coordination
• Conduct detailed market research and contribute to the college conference final group project
• Full-time availability to work, Monday - Friday, 8 am to 5 p.m
• Flexibility to work occasional evenings, Saturdays, and special events
• Overnight travel as needed
• Valid U.S. driver's license required for operating company vehicles

Duration: Summer 2027: June to August
