This is the start of a career path from technical sales into Implementations and Solutions Engineering. The position emphasizes hands-on product knowledge, consultative selling, and collaboration with Risk and other teams.

Qualifications

• 1+ years in a high-volume sales or customer service role with cross-selling or quota attainment.
• Eager to learn about a brand-new industry and its tax/compliance details.
• Customer-obsessed with the ability to listen and tailor recommendations.
• Goal-driven, competitive, and focused on hitting metrics.
• Strong written and verbal communication across channels.
• Adaptable problem-solver who thrives under shifting conditions.
• Proven experience integrating AI into daily workflows and providing useful feedback.

Responsibilities

• Handle high-volume customer interactions across phone and email with small business owners onboarding to payroll.
• Own your ticket queue and manage pipeline like an opportunity.
• Proactively position plan upgrades and surface cross-sell opportunities for Health Insurance and 401(k).
• Diagnose tax discrepancies live and troubleshoot state portals in real time.
• Configure sick time, PTO, and overtime policies for compliance from day one.
• Collaborate with Risk and other teams to gather information and guide customers appropriately.
• Use AI tools daily to surface friction, identify inefficiencies, and improve processes.
