Job summary

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of progressive hotel sales experience; or a 4-year college degree and at least 1 year of related experience; or a 2-year college degree and at least 2 years of related experience.
• Valid driver’s license in the applicable state required.
• Highly developed verbal and written communication skills; ability to negotiate, sell, and influence.
• Thorough experience with professional selling skills: opening, probing, supporting, closing.
• Strong analytical skills and strategic vision.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer knowledge.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
• Strong organization and presentation skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and interact with people of diverse backgrounds.
• Advanced knowledge of sales, marketing, and hospitality principles.
• Ability to work well under pressure and maintain composure.

Responsibilities

• Sell and market hotel offerings to drive occupancy and revenue.
• Lead and mentor a diverse sales team.
• Forecast budgets and create marketing campaigns to position the property as a top choice.
• Travel for client meetings, tours, and events to build relationships.
• Collaborate with departments and support the General Manager as the hotel’s ambassador.
