Nordstrom, Inc is seeking an Assistant Sales Department Manager to lead a team, drive sales, and deliver exceptional customer service in-store. You will recruit, train and motivate staff while aligning with department goals and merchandising standards.

The role emphasizes relationship building with store leaders, strong organizational skills, and success in a commission-based environment. A high school diploma is preferred.

• Directive selling experience and the ability to drive sales results.
• Ability to set and achieve sales goals in a commission-based environment.
• Strong focus on delivering an exceptional customer experience.
• Experience developing relationships with department/store managers and leaders.
• Strong organizational and follow-through skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsabilités

• Recruit, hire, train, develop and motivate your team.
• Assist the department manager in achieving department goals by executing a business plan.
• Ensure salespeople deliver outstanding customer service by coaching and leading by example.
• Work with the department manager to meet merchandising and presentation standards.
• Build long-lasting relationships and foster customer loyalty by actively selling on the floor.
• Assist in inventory management and shrinkage control.
