Nordstrom seeks an Assistant Sales Department Manager who excels at directive selling, sets and hits sales goals, and is dedicated to delivering an exceptional customer experience on the floor.

You will recruit, hire, train, develop and motivate your team, partner with the department manager to meet volume and merchandising standards, and build lasting relationships with customers while ensuring inventory accuracy and reducing shrinkage.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of strong results in sales or productivity
• Competitive drive and ability to succeed in commission-based environments
• Ability to set and achieve sales goals
• Experience building productive relationships with store leadership and merchandisers
• Strong organizational and follow-through skills
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Responsibilities
