Essential Functions:

Responsibilities:

To assist with the day-to-day store operation and sales performance to meet or exceed budget while in compliance with company standards, policies and procedures. A Sales Floor Lead performsthedutiesofasupervisorwhenassignedbytheStoreManagerorSalesFloorManager. Sales Floor Leads may act in a supervisory capacity during scheduled work hours.

• Toutethecashregistertomaketotalsales,acceptpayment;authorizevoids,returns, exchanges and credits for merchandise.
• Toensureproperrotation ofstore merchandise.
• Toactasapositiverolemodelforemployeesandtraineesinallaspectsofprofessional performance.
• To stock thesales floor adequately. To create a positivepublicimageof Goodwill throughacleanstoreenvironment,attractivedisplaysandpresentable,personable personnel.
• Tomaintainsafeandappropriateconditions intheshopping areas.
• Tokeepthestorecleanandhazardfreebyvacuuming,moppinganddusting, (including cleaning the bathrooms.)
• Toobservepersonnelandsafetypoliciesandprocedures.ToensurecompliancebyStoreFloorAssociates.
• Tobeabletoperformthejob dutiesofSalesFloorAssociates.
• Toattendworkontheregularlyscheduledshiftsasassignedbythemanagerfortheweek.
• Toensurethefloorcheckiscompleteddailyandtoensuremonthlysafetyself- inspections are conducted.
• Toensureallnewhiresareproperlyoriented,usingtheappropriatemanual,within the first week of employment. To document that training occurred.
• Toassistthestoremanagerincontrollingtheexpensetorevenueratiomonthlyandannually.
• ToassistintrainingandmentoringofSalesFloorAssociatesandcourt-appointed community service workers, as assigned by the Store Manager or Sales FloorManager.
• Toassistinsupervising,discipliningandrecommendingdischargeofsalesassociates to the Store Manager or Sales Floor Manager.
• Tomonitorandassist inthereceiving,pricingand displayingofstore merchandise.
• Torecordandbalancecashregisterreceipts,makebankdepositsandrecordstoretransactions.
• Toassistin thepreparationofpersonneland payrollrecordsin atimely manner.
• Tocompleteaccuratelyotherpaperworkrequiredintheday-to-dayoperationofthe store.
• Anyotherjob-relateddutiesasrequestedbymanagement.

• ToassisttheStoreManagerorProductionManagerinachieving/exceedingproduction goals both monthly and annually and to assist in implementing a contingency plan if goals are not being met.

• Mustbeabletofunctioninafast-pacedworkenvironmentwithoccasionalperiodsof high volume.

Requirements:

• HighSchooldiplomaorGEDand6monthssupervisoryexperienceoraminimumof 90 days in the service industry.
• Mustbeabletoread,writeandcommunicateclearlyin English.
• Priorworkexperience intheserviceindustry preferred.
• MustsuccessfullycompleteRetailtraining.

Working Conditions:

Frequentphysicalexertion,frequentmovement,conditionedindoortemperatureswithoccasional exposure to outdoor temperatures and weather conditions. Alternate work schedule may include working at an attended donation center with no prior notice.
