Essential Functions

Responsibilities

• 1. Tousethecashregistertomaketotalsales,acceptpayment;authorizevoids,returns, exchanges and credits for merchandise.
• 2. Toensureproperrotation ofstoremerchandise.
• 3. Toactasapositiverolemodelforemployeesandtraineesinallaspectsofprofessionalperformance.
• 4. To stock thesales floor adequately. To create a positivepublicimageof Goodwill throughacleanstoreenvironment,attractivedisplaysandpresentable,personablepersonnel.
• 5. Tomaintainsafeandappropriateconditionsintheshoppingareas.
• 6. Tokeepthestorecleanandhazardfreebyvacuuming,moppinganddusting, (including cleaning the bathrooms.)
• 7. Toobservepersonnelandsafetypoliciesandprocedures.ToensurecompliancebyStoreFloorAssociates.
• 8. Tobeabletoperformthejob duties ofSalesFloorAssociates.
• 9. Toattendworkontheregularlyscheduledshiftsasassignedbythemanagerfortheweek.
• 10. Toensurethefloorcheckiscompleteddailyandtoensuremonthlysafetyself- inspections are conducted.
• 11. Toensureallnewhiresareproperlyoriented,usingtheappropriatemanual,within the first week of employment. To document that training occurred.
• 12. Toassistthestoremanagerincontrollingtheexpensetorevenueratiomonthlyandannually.
• 13. ToassistintrainingandmentoringofSalesFloorAssociatesandcourt-appointed community service workers, as assigned by the Store Manager or Sales FloorManager.
• 14. Toassistinsupervising,discipliningandrecommendingdischargeofsalesassociates to the Store Manager or Sales Floor Manager.
• 15. Tomonitorandassist inthereceiving,pricingand displayingofstoremerchandise.
• 16. Torecordandbalancecashregisterreceipts,makebankdepositsandrecordstoretransactions.
• 17. Toassistinthe preparationofpersonneland payrollrecordsin atimely manner.
• 18. Tocompleteaccuratelyotherpaperworkrequiredintheday-to-dayoperationofthestore.
• 19. Anyotherjob-relateddutiesasrequestedbymanagement.

Requirements

Working Conditions

Frequentphysicalexertion,frequentmovement,conditionedindoortemperatureswithoccasional exposure to outdoor temperatures and weather conditions. Alternate work schedule may include working at an attended donation center with no prior notice.
