Job summary

Lowe’s Companies, Inc. in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a Sales Floor Department Supervisor to lead a team delivering outstanding customer service and store standards. You will coach associates, delegate tasks, monitor performance, and ensure department coverage while engaging customers and solving needs on the floor.

Responsibilities include mentoring staff, supporting merchandising decisions, ensuring safety, and occasionally opening/closing the store or acting as MOD. Travel is rare.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent with retail experience (3 years) or 5 years retail experience.
• 1 year of experience in customer service.
• 1 year of experience supporting Pro customers (Pro Department Supervisor).
• Experience directing or supervising teams.
• Experience training, mentoring and developing associates.
• Experience working cross-functionally.
• Experience Using Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to obtain sales related licensure or registration as may be required by law.

Responsibilities

• Lead and train associates to deliver customer experience.
• Delegate tasks, follow up on daily activities, manage performance.
• Ensure adequate department coverage and safety.
• Greet customers, clarify needs and close sales.
• Oversee store safety walks and report hazards.
